DEVELOPING TV-STREAMING APPS FOR NETWORK OPERATORS AND MEDIA COMPANIES
OVERVIEW
Ludovica led the development of white-label TV streaming platforms overseeing everything from backend and frontend configurations to final deployment and user migration. She managed logistics and branding of hardware and apps to ensure customised app delivery across different platforms and devices. She worked closely with TPMs and engineers to successfully onboard new customers onto the White Label platform enabling network operators across Europe to successfully launch their new IPTV product.
LUDOVICA'S ROLE
Had weekly calls with client to define product matrix including subscription packages, channel categories, lineup, linear and non-linear features (Replay, Catch-up, Recording, DAS etc.), device management and more.
Aligned with backend engineers to configure CRM systems and APIs (user authentication, feature enablement, purchase/control PINs, in-app purchases etc.) to ensure efficient management of client data and personalised user experience.
Worked closely with web developers and network engineers to manage DNS configurations and peering setup to maintain web domains and optimise streaming performance and network stability.
Monitored ingestion of live and VOD content (e.g., Rakuten, Disney, Netflix) managing media and metadata operations (video encoding/transcoding, integration of EPG, subtitles, billing systems etc.).
Worked closely with frontend engineers and design teams to coordinate branding activities, managing channel logos, brand logos and app icons in CMS and ensure tailored app customisation and optimised UX/UI. 
Managed hardware branding, logistics, and configurations, overseeing order fulfilment, system updates, and hardware setup as well as packaging design and user manual customization.
Managed setup of monitoring and ticketing tools and in-app messaging to enable real-time tracking of key analytics, bug reporting and call-to actions and improve end-user communication.
Managed internal communication on Trello boards, conducted retrospectives and feedback sessions to improve team performance and service level.
Supported sales and marketing teams organising press releases, customer events and congress exhibitions to improve brand awareness and networking.
RESULTS
Successfully onboarded 3 IPTV customers in the DACH area
Migrated +37.000 IPTV subscribers to the White Label platform
3/3 positive feedback received from customer on the onboarding experience
